Environmental Permitting &
Site Condition Assessment
service

Major industrial, energy, waste and manufacturing sites require an environmental permit to operate under the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) in England and Wales, and the Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) Regulations in Scotland. Under this system industrial sites, referred to as installations, must hold a permit to operate, which, in turn, specifies the application of best available techniques (BAT) to either eliminate pollution altogether, or to reduce it to harmless levels. All emissions, including to air, water and land, and impacts on adjacent receptors need to be considered.

KPB has comprehensive knowledge of the environmental permitting
regimes in all parts of the UAE.

The environmental permitting regime is very complex and requires detailed knowledge of technical guidance and experience of securing agreement with the regulators

KPB has many years’ experience of providing environmental permitting support to operators across a wide range of industrial sectors and in-depth understanding of relevant legislation and technical guidance. This enables us to assist companies in achieving their permitting requirements, including new permits, variations and surrender applications.
